These negative comments about the Gambia betray ignorance of the full and actual details relating to the change of Government and the present laudable and excellent work that His Excellency Captain Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh, Chairman of the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council and Head of State of the Gambia, has been doing since taking over the reins of Government in a bloodless coup d'état almost 15 months ago.
فهذه التعليقات السلبية عن غامبيا تنم عن الجهل بالتفاصيل الكاملة والفعلية المتعلقة بتغيير الحكومة، وبالعمل الجدير بالثناء الممتاز الذي يقوم به سعادة النقيب يحيى أ. ج. جامه رئيس المجلس الحاكم المؤقت للقوات المسلحة ورئيس دولة غامبيا، منذ توليه زمام الحكم في انقلاب غير دموي قبل ١٥ شهرا تقريبا.

On 22 July this year there was a peaceful removal of Government in the Gambia, when it was replaced by the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council under the chairmanship of His Excellency Lieutenant Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh.
في يوم ٢٢ تموز/يوليه من هذا العام حدثت إطاحة سلمية بالحكومة في غامبيا حيث حل محلها المجلس الحاكم المؤقت للقوات المسلحة تحت قيادة فخامة الملازم يحيى جامه.

President Al Hadji Yahya Jammeh had the honour to pay tribute to him during the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union held in Banjul in July.

12 - أكد السيد جامه في خطابه الرئيسي أن الدورة الاستثنائية التاسعة لمجلس إدارة برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة تعقد في لحظة فاصلة في تاريخ البشرية، وقال إن المجتمع الدولي قد وافق على مدار السنوات الأخيرة، على أهداف طموحة للحد من الفقر وتحقيق التنمية، وينبغي أن يهدف مجلس الإدارة إلى إقرار ميثاق عالمي جديد للمساعدة في كفالة تلك الأهداف بالاستفادة من خطة بالي الاستراتيجية.
