The importance of creating a safe environment for the victims was emphasized, and reference was made in this context to the comprehensive strategy on assistance and support to victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by United Nations staff and related personnel, of December 2007.

1. Adopts the United Nations Comprehensive Strategy on Assistance and Support to Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by United Nations Staff and Related Personnel ( " the Strategy " ), annexed to the present resolution;

60. Recalls its resolution 62/214 of 21 December 2007 containing the United Nations Comprehensive Strategy on Assistance and Support to Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by United Nations Staff and Related Personnel, calls for its continued implementation, and in this regard stresses the importance of addressing, in a comprehensive manner, the needs of all victims of sexual exploitation and abuse;
60 - تشير إلى قرارها 62/214 المؤرخ 21 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007 الذي يتضمن استراتيجية الأمم المتحدة الشاملة لمساعدة ودعم ضحايا جرائم الاستغلال والانتهاك الجنسيين من جانب موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين بها، وتدعو إلى مواصلة تنفيذها وتشدد في هذا الصدد على أهمية توخي الشمول في تلبية احتياجات جميع ضحايا الاستغلال والانتهاك الجنسيين؛

10. At its 9th meeting, on 19 December, the Working Group decided to recommend for adoption by the General Assembly the draft resolution and the United Nations Comprehensive Strategy on Assistance and Support to Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by United Nations Staff and Related Personnel contained in the annex thereto (see para. 14 below).

The forum should formally link United Nations entities to ensure the implementation of the United Nations Comprehensive Strategy on Assistance and Support to Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by United Nations Staff and Related Personnel (General Assembly resolution 62/214) and compliance with the Secretary-General's bulletin on special measures for protection from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse (ST/SGB/2003/13).
