The States members of the Caribbean Community therefore supported the conclusions of the seminar on the role of the Internet, held in Geneva in 1997, to the effect that the States Members of the United Nations should establish international juridical measures to prohibit racism from the Internet while respecting individual rights such as freedom of speech.
