٦ - ترحـب بالاتفاق الذي توصلت إليه حكومة غواتيمالا والاتحاد الثوري الوطني الغواتيمالي، في ١١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ٦٩٩١، لاختتام المفاوضات الدائرة بينهما، بغية وضع الصيغة النهائية لاتفاق السلم الوطيد والدائم في غواتيمالا والتوقيع عليه في ٢٩ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٦٩٩١، مما يكمل عملية السلام في أمريكا الوسطى، وفي هذا السياق تشجع كلا الطرفين على اتخاذ جميع التدابير الضرورية لتحقيق هذا الهدف؛
