The current international situation creates a favourable condition for the international community, and particularly nuclear-weapon States, to take steps towards eliminating nuclear weapons from our planet. While the CTBT is a step in the right direction, it lacks a clear time-frame for the removal of all nuclear weapons from our midst.
ويهيئ الوضع الدولي الحالي ظروفا مناسبة للمجتمع الدولي، وخاصة الدول الحائزة على اﻷسلحة النووية، للقيام بالخطوات اللازمة نحو إزالة اﻷسلحة النوويـــة مـــن على ظهر البسيطة ومعاهدة الحظر الشامل هي خطوة في الاتجاه الصحيح، ولكنها تفتقر الى وجود إطار زمني ﻹزالة جميع اﻷسلحة النووية من بين ظهرانينا.

The extension of the NPT and the CTBT were events that now lead to the logical goal, that is, the commencement of negotiations for the elimination of all nuclear weapons from the face of the Earth.
فتمديد معاهدة عدم الانتشار ومعاهدة الحظر الشامل للتجارب النووية حدثان أسفرا عن التوصل اﻵن إلى الهدف المنطقي، ألا وهو بدء اجراء مفاوضات ﻹزالة جميع اﻷسلحة النووية من على سطح اﻷرض.

It also welcomes the removal of all nuclear weapons from Kazakstan and Ukraine, as well as the accession of Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakstan to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) as non-nuclear States.
كما يرحب بإزالة جميع اﻷسلحة النووية من أوكرانيا وكازاخستان، وكذلك بانضمام أوكرانيا وبيلاروس وكازاخستان إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية بصفتها دولا غير حائزة لﻷسلحة النووية.

وتسفر معاهدة ستارت عن إجراء تخفيضات عميقة جدا - نحو ٥٧ في المائة - في الترسانتين النوويتين للاتحاد الروسي والولايات المتحدة، وعن إزالة جميع اﻷسلحة النووية من أوكرانيا وكازاخستان وبيلاروس.
