For all the above reasons, the Special Representative recommends that the Commission on Human Rights should continue to monitor the situation of human rights in Equatorial Guinea and give it even greater attention in order to bring about the prompt implementation of the recommendations that have repeatedly been made to that country for over 20 years.
ولجميع الأسباب المذكورة أعلاه، يوصي الممثل الخاص أن تواصل لجنة حقوق الإنسان رصد حالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا الاستوائية وإيلائها اهتماماً أكبر كي تنفذ على وجه السرعة التوصيات التي قُدمت تكراراً إلى هذا البلد طوال أكثر من 20 سنة.

Subsequently, when the Special Rapporteur on a situation of human rights in Equatorial Guinea was able to visit Salvador Ndong in December 1996 in prison, unhealed wounds were still visible on the feet and marks on the wrists, which showed that he had been tortured by being hung up by the arms.
وفيما بعد، عندما قام المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة حقوق الإنسان في غينيا الاستوائية بزيارة سلفادور ندونغ في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1996 في السجن، استطاع رؤية جروح لم تندمل حتى ذلك الحين على قدميه وعلامات على رسغيه، وهي أدلة تثبت استخدام طريقة التعذيب المتمثلة في التعليق من الذراعين.
