29. In her statement, the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on violence against women, its causes and consequences highlighted the importance of an adequate response to violence against women, at both the international and the national level.

With regard to the latter, her delegation would continue to support the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography and stressed the need to redouble efforts to eliminate family violence and at all times respect the rights and meet the needs of all children.
وفيما يتعلق بالموضوع الثاني، قالت إن وفدها سيواصل تأييد المقررة الخاصة للجنة حقوق الإنسان والمعنية بمسألة بيع الأطفال واستغلالهم في البغاء وفي إنتاج المواد الإباحية وشددت على ضرورة مضاعفة الجهود للقضاء على العنف الأسري والقيام في جميع الأوقات باحترام حقوق جميع الأطفال وتلبية احتياجاتهم.

They expressed satisfaction at information received from the Secretariat to the effect that the workshop would be organized in consultation with the treaty bodies, particularly the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the Committee on the Rights of the Child, as well as the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the right to education.

IV).
