The reaction of Germany to a declaration by which the Tunisian Government indicated that it would not adopt, in implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 20 November 1989, “any legislative or statutory decision that conflicts with the Tunisian Constitution” (ibid., chap. 198. As a general rule, French law fully guarantees consideration of the best interests of the child and, where appropriate, of the child's views, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 20 November 1989, to which France is a party.

The Convention on the Rights of the Child of 20 November 1989, which entered into force on 2 September 1990, establishes the general framework for the protection of these rights in a manner which encompasses the risks of ill-treatment mentioned above.

The right to citizenship is a fundamental human right, one recognized in many international legal instruments (e.g. in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of 16 December 1966 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 20 November 1989).
والحق في الجنسية هو أحد حقوق الإنسان الأساسية، وهو حق معترف به في كثير من الصكوك القانونية الدولية (مثل الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية المؤرخ 16 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1966() واتفاقية حقوق الطفل المؤرخة 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1989()).

It brings young people together to advocate for children's rights (as laid down in the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 20 November 1989 and the Final Act of Stockholm 1996, as well as in Conventions 138 and 182 of the International Labour Organization) and to promote harmonious and lasting development for young people (girls and boys) in marginal areas.
وهي هيكل لتجمع الشباب من أجل الدفاع عن حقوق الطفل (تطبيقا لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل المؤرخة 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1989، واستنادا إلى الوثيقة الختامية لمؤتمر ستوكهولم لعام 1996؛ وكذلك امتثالا لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 138/182) من أجل تنمية متسقة ومستدامة لصالح الشباب (من الإناث والذكور) في الأوساط المحرومة.
