They noted with appreciation the leadership of UNICEF in child protection within the United Nations system, including in relation to Security Council resolutions 1612 (2005), 1882 (2009), 1888 (2009) and 1960 (2010), as well as the initiative of UNICEF to establish a common system for the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism in the field.
