At the second phase WSIS meeting in Tunis, the agenda addressed aspects of the information society not covered in Geneva, namely financing pro-poor ICTs and Internet Governance, with the newly created Internet Governance Forum materializing as an outcome.
وفي المرحلة الثانية من اجتماع القمة في تونس العاصمة، تناول جدول الأعمال جوانب من مجتمع المعلومات لم تُناقش في جنيف، أي تمويل تكنولوجيات المعلومات والاتصالات لصالح الفقراء وحَوْكمة الإنترنت، علماً أن منتدى حوكمة الإنترنت الحديث العهد جاء كحصيلة للمؤتمر.

51. The Division has been entrusted by the Under-Secretary-General of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs with supporting and overseeing the work of the secretariat of the Internet Governance Forum, in terms of both policy and administration, to ensure its effective functioning.
