20. In Abyei, on the north-south border, where the people were either indigenous or were close to their original homes further south, conditions contrasted sharply with those in the camps around Khartoum.
20- أما في منطقة أبيي على الحدود بين الشمال والجنوب حيث كان الناس إما من الأهالي المحليين أو على مقربة من مواطنهم الأصلية إلى الجنوب، فقد كانت الظروف تختلف كثيراً عن الظروف السائدة في المخيمات حول الخرطوم.

25. While the situation of the displaced had improved, especially in view of the fact that significant numbers of displaced persons around Khartoum had been allocated land to resettle and those in the rural north had also been granted agricultural land to farm, the challenges of displacement for the most part remained as they had been almost a decade earlier and the options the Representative had recommended were still valid.
25- وبينما تحسن وضع المشردين، ولا سيما بعد منح الكثير من الموجودين منهم حول الخرطوم أراضي للتوطن من جديد وكذلك منح من هم في المناطق الريفية في الشمال أراضي زراعية لاستغلالها، فإن تحديات التشرد بالنسبة للغالبية العظمى ظلت كما كانت عليه قبل قرابة عقد من الزمان وبقيت الخيارات التي قدمها الممثل صالحة.
