Stresses that the reform of the Department should be aimed at improving the timely delivery of documentation and the quality of conference services provided to Member States with a view to meeting the needs of Member States as efficiently and effectively as possible and in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly;

The report of the Secretary-General on the pattern of conferences, which was submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 67/237 and other relevant mandates, contains information on conference management issues as well as initiatives undertaken by the Secretariat to improve the quality of conference services provided to Member States.

5. Requests the Secretary-General to ensure that implementation of the capital master plan, including the temporary relocation of conference-servicing staff to the swing space, will not compromise the quality of conference services provided to Member States and the equal treatment of the language services, which should be provided with equally favourable working conditions and resources, with a view to receiving maximum quality of services;
5 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام كفالة تنفيذ المخطط العام لتجديد مباني المقر بما في ذلك النقل المؤقت لموظفي خدمة المؤتمرات إلى مكان الإيواء المؤقت، وذلك على نحو لا ينال من جودة خدمات المؤتمرات التي تقدم إلى الدول الأعضاء أو من المساواة في المعاملة بين جميع دوائر اللغات، التي يجب أن توفر لها ظروف عمل وموارد ملائمة على قدم المساواة بهدف تقديم الخدمات بأقصى جودة؛
