At a 16 July meeting, the civil aviation authorities and air navigation service providers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, together with the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation, agreed to open the Bosnia and Herzegovina Area Control Centre, which will initially provide air traffic services over parts of the Sarajevo flight information region.

168. To overcome these problems, while rebuilding the capacity of RVA, which was the body responsible for monitoring air traffic in the airspace of the Democratic Republic of the Congo before it was destroyed in the war, the Congolese authorities might find it helpful to designate MONUC to be responsible for air traffic services in the eastern part of the country.
168- تجاوزا لهذه الصعوبات وفي انتظار تعزيز قدرة وكالة الخطوط الجوية، وهي الجهاز الذي يتولى مراقبة الملاحة في أجواء جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية التي مزقتها الحرب، يُستحسن أن تعيِّن السلطات الكونغولية بعثة منظمة الأمم المتحدة في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية بوصفها الجهة التي تتولى مؤقتا خدمات الملاحة الجوية في شرق الكونغو.

21. The following are all important prerequisites for obtaining financing and successful cost recovery for air navigation services:
٢١ - جميع ما يلي متطلبات مهمة للحصول على التمويل واسترداد التكاليف بنجاح لقاء خدمات الملاحة الجوية:

It shall establish a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to regulate civil aviation activities in Kosovo, subject to the right of the IMP to re-establish military control over the airspace, as set forth in Article 2 of Annex XI. The CAA shall also designate a provider for air navigation services. INTERNATIONAL CIVILIAN REPRESENTATIVE
وتُنشئ هيئة للطيران المدني لتنظيم أنشطة الطيران المدني في كوسوفو، شريطة احتفاظ الوجود العسكري الدولي بحقه في وضع المجال الجوي مجددا تحت المراقبة العسكرية على النحو المحدد في المادة الثانية من المرفق الحادي عشر. وتعيّن هيئة الطيران المدني أيضا شركة لتوفير خدمات الملاحة الجوية.

16. With regard to the provision of air navigation services for upper or lower airspace, there are several examples of regional cooperation in the Caribbean due to the proximity of the different islands.
١٦ - وفيما يتعلق بتوفير خدمات الملاحة الجوية في المجال الجوي العلوي أو المنخفض، فإن هناك عدة أمثلة عن التعاون اﻹقليمي في منطقة البحر الكاريبي نظرا لقرب المسافات بين مختلف الجزر.

22. The meeting of these prerequisites will be considerably facilitated where air navigation services are provided by means of organizational structures ensuring financing and operational autonomy.
٢٢ - وإذا ما كان تقديم خدمات الملاحة الجوية يجري من خلال هياكل تنظيمية تكفل استقلال التمويل والتنفيذ، فإن هذا من شأنه تيسير تحقيق هذه المتطلبات إلى حد كبير.

76. At the request of CARICOM, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) prepared a document entitled " Discussion paper on management aspects of air navigation services charges in the eastern Caribbean " , which was presented to the CARICOM Directors General of Civil Aviation meeting in Trinidad and Tobago in March 2000.
76 - بناء على طلب الجماعة الكاريبية أعدت منظمة الطيران المدني الدولية وثيقة عنوانها " ورقة مناقشة للجوانب الإدارية لرسوم خدمات الملاحة الجوية في شرقي الكاريبي " وقدمتها إلى اجتماع مديري عموم الطيران المدني في بلدان الجماعة الكاريبية الذي عقد في آذار/مارس 2000 بترينيداد وتوباغو.

The status of GNSS applications within the civil air navigation service providers of the United Arab Emirates was presented.
