The endorsement of the Busan Action Plan for Statistics may be seen as an expression of confidence in the ability of the international statistical community to ensure the continuation of its progress in the future.
وقد يُنظر إلى التأييد الذي حظيت به خطة عمل بوسان للإحصاءات كتعبير عن الثقة في قدرة الأوساط الإحصائية الدولية على كفالة استمرار تقدمها في المستقبل.

Like its predecessor, the Marrakech Action Plan for Statistics, which aimed to improve the quality and coverage of indicators for the Millennium Development Goals, the Busan Action Plan for Statistics recognized the complementary roles of developing countries, bilateral development partners and international agencies.

In its decision 43/113, the Commission endorsed the objectives of the Busan Action Plan for Statistics and the five steps needed to strengthen national statistical systems in developing countries, urged that the plan of implementation be flexible and urged the global community to provide sustained support for the full implementation of the Plan through the adoption of a coordinated and consultative approach.
وقد أيدت اللجنة الإحصائية في مقررها 43/113 أهداف خطة عمل بوسان للإحصاءات والخطوات الخمس اللازم اتخاذها لتعزيز النظم الإحصائية الوطنية في البلدان النامية، وحثت على أن تكون خطة التنفيذ مرنة، وحثت المجتمع العالمي على تقديم دعم مستمر للتنفيذ التام للخطة من خلال اعتماد نهج منسق وتشاوري.

19. A partnership endorsed by the Fourth High-level Forum on Aid Effectiveness to implement the Busan Action Plan for Statistics provides the opportunity to extend the progress made over the last decade under the Marrakech Action Plan and to provide direction for the decade ahead.
19 - تتيح شراكة أقرها المنتدى الرفيع المستوى الرابع المعني بفعالية المعونة لتنفيذ خطة عمل بوسان للإحصاءات فرصة لتوسيع نطاق التقدم المحرز على مدى العقد الماضي في إطار خطة عمل مراكش، ولتوفير التوجيه اللازم للعقد المقبل.

This action plan, known as the " Busan Action Plan for Statistics " , is an input for the Fourth High-level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, to be held in Busan, Republic of Korea, from 29 November to 1 December 2011.

The report also highlights progress in implementing the Busan Action Plan for Statistics and reflects on emerging topics likely to affect national statistical systems such as the " big data " and " open data " agendas.
