The representative of the Ozone Secretariat recalled that the control measures applicable to Parties operating under Article 5 for Annex B, group III substances (methyl chloroform) required a freeze in consumption from 1 January 2003 at baseline levels and, from 1 January 2005, a 30 per cent reduction in consumption, as calculated against the Party's baseline.
