II. Additional activities arising from the entry into force of the Optional Protocol

He further submits that, according to the established jurisprudence of the Committee, it has jurisdiction to consider violations that continue after the entry into force of the Optional Protocol.

6.3 The Committee notes that the State party claims that the communication is inadmissible ratione temporis, since the qualification proceedings for the author ended on 5 September 1990, that is, before the Optional Protocol entered into force for Poland on 7 February 1992.

4.2 The State party considers the communication inadmissible because it relates to facts that occurred before the Optional Protocol entered into force for Sri Lanka, that is 3 January 1998.
4-2 وترى الدولة الطرف أن البلاغ غير مقبول لأنه يتعلق بأحداث وقعت قبل دخول البروتوكول الاختياري حيز النفاذ في سري لانكا، أي 3 كانون الثاني/يناير 1998.
