52. One positive step was the adaptation of the Manual on Effective Investigation and Documentation of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (Istanbul Protocol) to the Mexican context.
52- وأُحرز تقدم بفضل عملية تعميم " دليل التقصي والتوثيق الفعالين للتعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة " (بروتوكول اسطنبول) على الصعيد الوطني.

To this effect, the Manual on Effective Investigation and Documentation of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (Istanbul Protocol), should be included in the training material.
ولهذا الغرض، ينبغي أن تشمل المواد التدريبية " دليل التقصي والتوثيق الفعالين للتعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة " (بروتوكول اسطنبول).

All personnel should receive specific training on how to identify signs of torture and illtreatment, and the Committee recommends that the Istanbul Protocol of 1999 (Manual on the Effective Investigation and Documentation of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment) become an integral part of the training provided to physicians.

The Committee is also concerned that the Manual on the Effective Investigation and Documentation of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (Istanbul Protocol) is not followed (art. 10).
