وإذ يعرب عن قلقه البالغ إزاء استمرار حالة التوتر في النزاع الحدودي بين جيبوتي وإريتريا وما يُحتمل أن يترتب على خطورة وتقلب الحالة الأمنية في منطقة دميرة من آثار على استقرار وأمن هذه المنطقة دون الإقليمية، بعد الأحداث الخطيرة التي وقعت في 10 حزيران/يونيه 2008 وأسفرت عن عشرات الوفيات والإصابات،
