Noting that the Commission discussed the priority theme of " Promoting full employment and decent work for all " at its forty-fifth and forty-sixth sessions, as the first of the core themes of the World Summit for Social Development addressed under the two-year review and policy cycle,

3. Takes note of its decision in resolution 2005/11, as recalled in resolution 2006/18, that the Commission should discuss each of the core themes of the World Summit for Social Development -- poverty eradication, full employment and social integration -- under the two-year review and policy cycle;

Pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolutions 2005/11 of 21 July 2005 and 2006/18 of 26 July 2006, the Commission will undertake a review of the functioning of the two-year review and policy cycle in order to ensure that this approach enhances its effectiveness and functioning, and will also identify the theme for the 2009-2010 review and policy cycle.
عملا بقراري المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2005/11 المؤرخ 21 تموز/يوليه 2005 و 2006/18 المؤرخ 26 تموز/يوليه 2006، ستستعرض اللجنة سير دورة الاستعراض والسياسات لفترة السنتين، لتكفل أن هذا النهج يعزز فعاليتها وسير أعمالها، وستحدد أيضا موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2009-2010.

In its resolution 2006/18 of 26 July 2006, the Economic and Social Council decided that the theme for the 2007-2008 review and policy cycle would be " Promoting full employment and decent work for all " , taking into account its interrelationship with poverty eradication and social integration.
قرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، في قراره 2006/18 المؤرخ 26 تموز/يوليه 2006، أن يكون " تشجيع العمالة الكاملة وتوفير العمل اللائق للجميع " موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2007-2008، مع مراعاة ترابط ذلك مع القضاء على الفقر والإدماج الاجتماعي.

The Commission addressed the subject of the further review of the methods of work of the Commission, and recommended to the Council that the theme for the 2007/2008 review and policy cycle would be " Promoting full employment and decent work for all " , taking into account the interrelationship between employment, poverty eradication and social integration.
وتطرقت اللجنة إلى موضوع مواصلة استعراض أساليب عمل اللجنة، وأوصت المجلس بأن يكون موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2007-2008 هو " تشجيع العمالة الكاملة وتوفير العمل اللائق للجميع " ، مع مراعاة الترابط بين العمالة والقضاء على الفقر والإدماج الاجتماعي.

2. Decides that the theme for the 2006-2008 review and policy cycle will be: " Promoting the building of a people-centred, development-oriented and inclusive information society, with a view to enhancing digital opportunities for all people " .
2 - يقـرر أن يكون موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2006-2008 هو: " النهوض ببناء مجتمع معلومات محوره الإنسان وإنمائي المنحى ويتسم بالشمول بغية زيادة إتاحة الفرص الرقمية للجميع " .

Subsequently, in its resolution 2006/18 of 26 July 2006 on the same subject, the Council decided that the theme for the 2007-2008 review and policy cycle would be " Promoting full employment and decent work for all " , taking into account its interrelationship with poverty eradication and social integration.
وقرر المجلس لاحقا في القرار 2006/18 المؤرخ 26 تموز/يوليه 2006 المتعلق بالموضوع نفسه، أن يكون " تشجيع العمالة الكاملة وتوفير العمل اللائق للجميع " موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2007-2008، مع مراعاة ترابط ذلك مع القضاء على الفقر والإدماج الاجتماعي.

The Commission also decided that the theme for the 2006-2008 review and policy cycle would be " promoting the building of a people-centred, development-oriented and inclusive information society, with a view to enhancing digital opportunities for all people " .
وقررت اللجنة أيضا أن يكون موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2006 - 2008 هو " تعزيز بناء مجتمع معلومات محوره الناس وموجه نحو التنمية وشامل، من أجل تعزيز الفرص في مجال التكنولوجيا الرقمية لجميع الناس " .

The present report has been prepared in response to Economic and Social Council resolution 2006/18, in which the Council decided that the theme for the 2007-2008 review and policy cycle of the Commission for Social Development would be " Promoting full employment and decent work for all " , taking into account its interrelationship with poverty eradication and social integration.
أعد هذا التقرير استجابة لقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2006/18، الذي قرر فيه المجلس أن يكون موضوع دورة الاستعراض والسياسات للفترة 2007-2008 التي ستعقدها لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية هو " تشجيع العمالة الكاملة وتوفير العمل اللائق للجميع " ، مع مراعاة ترابط ذلك الموضوع مع القضاء على الفقر والتكامل الاجتماعي.

4. In its resolutions 2005/11 and 2006/18 on the future organization and methods of work of the Commission, the Economic and Social Council decided that the work of the Commission would be organized in a series of two-year, action-oriented implementation cycles that would include a review segment, and a policy segment, and that the theme for the 2007-2008 review and policy cycle would be " Promoting full employment and decent work for all " .
