The role of NHRIs is to monitor independently the State's compliance and progress towards implementation and to do all it can to ensure full respect for children's rights.
ويتمثل دور المؤسسات الوطنية المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان في القيام بصورة مستقلة برصد امتثال الدولة للاتفاقية وما تحرزه من تقدم في تنفيذها وتقوم بكل ما في وسعها لضمان الاحترام الكامل لحقوق الطفل.

In this regard, the Committee refers the State party to its general comment No. 2 (CRC/GC/2002/2) of 2002 on the role of independent national human rights institutions.
