As stated in paragraph 8 of the report, the Fifth Committee recommends to the General Assembly the appointment of the following persons as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 1994: Mr. Mayer Gabay of Israel and Mr. Luis M. de Posadas Montero of Uruguay.
وكما جاء في الفقرة ٨ من التقرير، توصي اللجنة الخامسة بأن تعين الجمعية العامة الشخصين التاليين عضوين في المحكمــة اﻹدارية لﻷمم المتحدة لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ فـــي ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤: السيد مائيــر غاباي، من اسرائيل، والسيد لويس م. دي بوساداس مونتيرو، من أوروغواي.

In paragraph 8 of that report the Fifth Committee recommends that the Assembly should appoint the following persons as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 1994: Mr. Mayer Gabay and Mr. Luis M. de Posadas Montero.
توصي اللجنة الخامسة في الفقرة ٨ من تقريرها بأن تعين الجمعية العامة الشخصين التاليين عضوين في المحكمة اﻹدارية لﻷمم المتحدة لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤: السيد مائير غاباي، والسيد لويس م. دي بوساداس مونتيرو.

33. The CHAIRMAN said that since one vacancy remained to be filled, in accordance with rule 94 of the rules of the procedure the Committee must take a second vote by secret ballot restricted to the two candidates who had obtained the largest numbers of votes out of the three candidates who had not obtained the required majority, i.e. Mr. L. de Posadas Montero and Mr. Prandler.
٣٣ - الرئيس: ذكر أنه لا يزال هناك مقعد شاغر، وقال إن على اللجنة وفقا للمادة ٩٤ من النظام الداخلي الشروع في جولة ثانية من الاقتراع على المرشحين الذين حصلا على أكبر عدد من اﻷصوات من بين المرشحين الثلاثة الذين لم يحصلوا على اﻷغلبية اللازمة، أي السيد ل. دي بوساداس مونتيرو والسيد براندلر.

36. Mr. L. de Posadas Montero (Uruguay) having obtained the required majority, the Committee decided to recommend that he should be appointed as a member of the Administrative Tribunal for a three-year term beginning on 1 January 1994.
٣٦ - وبحصول السيد ل. دي بوساداس مونتيرو )أوروغواي( على اﻷغلبية المطلوبة، فقد أوصت اللجنة بتعيينه عضوا في المحكمة اﻹدارية لﻷمم المتحدة لمدة ثلاث سنوات ابتداء من ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤.

2. At its 69th plenary meeting, on 3 December 1993, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Fifth Committee (see A/48/696), appointed Mr. Luis de Posadas Montero and Mr. Mayer Gabay as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 1994.
٢ - عينت الجمعية العامة، في جلستها العامة ٦٩ المعقودة فــي ٣ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، بناء على توصية اللجنة الخامسة )انظر (A/48/696، السيد لويس دي بوساداس مونتيرو والسيد ماير غاباي عضوين في المحكمة اﻹدارية لﻷمم المتحدة لفترة ٣ سنوات، تبدأ في ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤.

7. Having obtained the required majority, Mr. Luis M. de Posadas Montero (Uruguay) was declared recommended for appointment as a member of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 1994.
٧ - وبالنظر الى حصول السيد لويس م. دي بوساداس مونيترو )أوروغواي( على اﻷغلبية المطلوبة، أعلنت التوصية بتعيينه عضوا في المحكمة الادارية لﻷمم المتحدة لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤.
