Paragraph 114 of the programme invites the United Nations General Assembly to consider holding, towards the end of the decade, a fourth United Nations Conference on the LDCs in order to make a comprehensive appraisal of the implementation of the current Programme of Action and to decide on subsequent action.
3- وتدعو الفقرة 114 من البرنامج الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة إلى بحث عقد مؤتمر رابع للأمم المتحدة يُعنى بأقل البلدان نمواً بحلول نهاية العقد بغية إجراء تقييم شامل لتنفيذ البرنامج الجاري تطبيقه وتقرير الإجراءات التي ستُتخذ لاحقاً.

The view was expressed that the Subcommittee should consider organizing a fourth United Nations conference on the exploration and peaceful uses of outer space in order to address present and future challenges to humanity, such as climate change.
54- وأُعرِب عن رأي مفاده أن اللجنة الفرعية ينبغي لها أن تنظر في إمكانية تنظيم مؤتمر رابع للأمم المتحدة بشأن استكشاف الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في الأغراض السلمية، من أجل التصدي لتحديات الحاضر والمستقبل التي تواجهها الإنسانية، ومنها مثلاً تغير المناخ.

The Third United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), held in Brussels in May 2001, " invited the General Assembly to consider holding a fourth United Nations conference on LDCs, in order to make a comprehensive appraisal of the implementation of the Brussels Programme of Action and to decide on subsequent action " (para. 114 of the Programme of Action).
1- دعا مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثالث المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً، المعقود في بروكسل في أيار/مايو 2001، " الجمعية العامة إلى النظر قرب نهاية العقد، في عقد مؤتمر رابع للأمم المتحدة بشأن أقل البلدان نمواً، لإجراء تقييم شامل لتنفيذ برنامج عمل بروكسل والبت في الإجراءات اللاحقة " (الفقرة 114 من برنامج العمل).

In that connection, he called on COPUOS to contribute to the work of the Commission on Sustainable Development by focusing on key challenges such as food security, biodiversity and climate change, among others, and to consider convening a fourth United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.

The General Assembly in its resolution 62/203 recalled paragraph 114 of the Programme of Action on holding a fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries towards the end of the current decade, and requested the Secretary-General, in that regard, to prepare a note during the sixty-second session of the Assembly outlining the modalities of such a conference, including its preparatory process.
