6.1 In the Committee's letter of 21 July 2010, the author was invited to provide clarifications regarding his case.

The Committee has considered some reports from States parties which expressed or implied the belief that the information mentioned in the Committee's communication of 28 January 1970 (CERD/C/R.12), need not be supplied by States parties on whose territories racial discrimination does not exist.
نظرت اللجنة في عدة تقارير واردة من الدول الأطراف أُعرب فيها عن الاعتقاد، أو لُمّح فيها ضمنا إلى الاعتقاد، بأن المعلومات المذكورة في رسالة اللجنة المؤرخة في 28 كانون الثاني/يناير 1970 (CERD/C/R.12) لا لزوم لأن توفرها الدول الأطراف التي لا يوجد في أقاليمها تمييز عنصري.

The current wording of the paragraph would not convey the Committee's message to them all.

It was also considered to be in line with the message of the Commission, endorsed by the Assembly, that the promotion of the rule of law in commercial relations should be an integral part of the broader agenda of the United Nations to promote the rule of law at the national and international levels (see para. 195 above).
ورُئي أيضا أنه يتفق مع رسالة اللجنة التي أكدتها الجمعية، وهي أنَّ تعزيز سيادة القانون في العلاقات التجارية ينبغي أن يكون جزءاً لا يتجزّأ من جدول أعمال الأمم المتحدة الأعم بشأن تعزيز سيادة القانون على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي (انظر الفقرة 195 أعلاه).

It was emphasized that the Commission's message should permeate those conferences.
وجرى التأكيد على أن رسالة اللجنة ينبغي أن تنفذ الى هذه المؤتمرات.
