Therefore, with the goal of providing solutions for the existing important problems of the national economy, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova decided to promote some space technology projects in the framework of the programme on the exploitation of renewable energy resources in the Republic of Moldova and the development of a Moldovan microsatellite.

The project's objective is the development of a microsatellite in order to analyse orbit parameters; improve satellite control; to test the on-board computer and its basic components; and carry out research on the technologies of Earth observation, aimed at obtaining information about the land surface of the Republic of Moldova, in particular.
يهدف المشروع إلى تطوير ساتل ميكروي من أجل تحليل البارامترات المدارية؛ وتحسين التحكّم في الساتل؛ واختبار الحاسوب المركّب على متن الساتل وكذا مكوناته الأساسية؛ وإجراء أبحاث عن تقنيات رصد الأرض، بهدف الحصول على معلومات عن سطح الأرض في جمهورية مولدوفا تحديدا.

In the sixth presentation, the Vietnamese space effort was reviewed as an example of the actual steps taken by a country embarking on a small satellite programme. The programme consisted of three well-defined steps, starting with a pico-satellite, progressing to a micro-satellite in the context of a regional cooperation programme (the MicroSTAR programme) and culminating in a national satellite Earth observation programme.
13- واستعرضت الورقة السادسة الجهود التي تبذلها فييت نام في ميدان الفضاء باعتبارها مثالا على الخطوات الفعلية التي اتخذها هذا البلد الذي شرع في تنفيذ برنامج للسواتل الصغيرة يتألف من ثلاث خطوات محددة بوضوح، تبدأ بساتل بيكوي (pico-satellite) وتتطور إلى ساتل ميكروي (micro-satellite) في إطار برنامج تعاون إقليمي (برنامج السواتل الميكروية (مايكروسات)) وتبلغ ذروتها في برنامج سواتل وطني لرصد الأرض.

Objectives of this project include: (a) designing and developing a micro-satellite in amateur radio frequency bands, to be deployed to LEO with the aim of research, e-mail and store-and-forward data communication; (b) scientific research work and training tasks to gain experience in and possibilities for developing communication satellite systems of the store-and-forward type.
وتشمل أهداف هذا المشروع ما يلي: (أ) تصميم وتطوير ساتل ميكروي يعمل على الترددات اللاسلكية الخاصة بالهواة سيوضع في مدار أرضي منخفض بهدف اجراء البحوث وخدمة البريد الالكتروني والاتصالات الخاصة بخزن وارسال البيانات، (ب) القيام ببحوث علمية ومهام تدريبية بهدف اكتساب الخبرة في مجال الاتصالات الساتلية من النوع المخصص لأغراض خزن وارسال البيانات وامكانيات تطوير هذه النظم.
