31. In response, the State Secretary for Justice said that the division of tasks between the Ombudsman institution, the Commission on Equal Treatment and the projected national human rights institution is currently under consideration.

32. Regarding the issue of integration of ethnic minorities and refugees, the State Secretary for Justice stated that it wants to build bridges between citizens.
32- وفيما يتعلق بمسألة اندماج الأقليات الإثنية واللاجئين، ذكرت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل أنها تريد بناء جسور بين المواطنين.

33. On discrimination in labour participation, the State Secretary for Justice said that people must have every opportunity to work and to access the labour market on the basis of equal rights and equal treatment.
33- وفيما يتعلق بالمشاركة في العمل قالت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل إنه يجب أن تتاح لجميع الناس فرصة للعمل وللوصول إلى سوق العمل على أساس المساواة في الحقوق والمعاملة.

39. Regarding the opinion poll mentioned by Egypt and the question on the death penalty, the State Secretary for Justice noted that the Government is not run by opinion polls, even if it may be interesting to look at them.
39- وفيما يتعلق باستطلاع الآراء الذي أشارت إليه مصر ومسألة عقوبة الإعدام، ذكرت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل أن الحكومة لا تسيّرها استطلاعات الآراء، وإن كان من المهم الاطلاع على هذه الاستطلاعات.

15. In response to a question by France on the signature of the International Convention on the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, the State Secretary for Justice noted that on 11 April, the Council of Ministers decided to authorize the Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the United Nations to sign this Convention.
15- ورداً على سؤال طرحته فرنسا بشأن التوقيع على الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري، ذكرت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل أن مجلس الوزراء قرر في 11 نيسان/أبريل أن يأذن لممثل هولندا الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة بالتوقيع على هذه الاتفاقية.

36. On the fire incident which resulted in the loss of 11 lives of illegal aliens who were about to be repatriated, the State Secretary for Justice said that the fire did not occur in a reception centre for asylum-seekers but in a detention centre for illegal aliens.
36- أما بشأن الحريق الذي أودى بحياة 11 شخصاً من الأجانب الذين كانوا في وضع غير قانوني وكانوا على وشك أن يعادوا إلى وطنهم، فقد قالت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل إن الحريق لم يندلع في مركز استقبال لطالبي اللجوء بل في مركز احتجاز الأجانب الذين يقيمون في وضع غير قانوني.

37. The State Secretary for Justice addressed the new legislation on counterterrorism, indicating that the possible effects of all legislative measures on human rights are taken into account in new lawmaking processes, in particular when such measures address sensitive issues such as the prevention of terrorism.
37- وتناولت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل التشريع الجديد المتعلق بمكافحة الإرهاب فقالت إنه تؤخذ في الإعتبار، لدى وضع قوانين جديدة، الآثار الممكنة لجميع التدابير التشريعية على حقوق الإنسان، وبخاصة عندما تتناول مثل هذه التدابير قضايا حساسة مثل منع الإرهاب.

It noted with satisfaction the statement by the State Secretary of Justice that freedom for Muslims to practise their religion is a key theme of integration policies.
وأحاطت علماً مع الارتياح بالبيان الذي أدلت به سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل والذي قالت فيه إن حرية المسلمين في ممارسة شعائر دينهم هي أحد المواضيع الرئيسية لسياسات الدمج.

60. On the issue of trafficking and the position and abuse of women, the State Secretary of Justice gave the example of recent prosecutions of traffickers between Nigeria and the Netherlands, due to cooperation with Nigeria on this issue.
60- وحول قضية الاتجار ووضع المرأة والإساءة إليها، ساقت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل مثالاً يتعلق بالقيام مؤخراً بملاحقة المتاجرين بالمرأة بين نيجيريا وهولندا، بفضل التعاون مع نيجيريا بشأن هذه المسألة.

74. The State Secretary of Justice indicated that the Netherlands has established a national human trafficking task force, with the duty to combine and coordinate all efforts of existing institutions, such as special police units and the National Rapporteur.
74- وذكرت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل أن هولندا أنشأت فرقة عمل وطنية تعنى بمكافحة الاتجار بالبشر وعهدت إليها بمهمة جمع وتنسيق جميع جهود المؤسسات القائمة، ومنها الوحدات الخاصة للشرطة والمقررة الوطنية.

75. The State Secretary of Justice stated that all inhabitants are protected against discrimination, be they Dutch nationals or migrants. The equal treatment law applies to the European part of the Netherlands.
75- وذكرت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل أن جميع السكان يتمتعون بالحماية من التمييز، سواء أكانوا مواطنين هولنديين أم مهاجرين، وإن قانون المساواة في المعاملة ينطبق على الجزء الأوروبي من هولندا.

76. The State Secretary of Justice stated that the European part, Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles are three co-equal fully autonomous partners in their respective affairs.
76- وذكرت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل أن الجزء الأوروبي، وأروبا، وجزر الأنتيل الهولندية شركاء ثلاثة متساوون ومستقلون ذاتياً تمام الاستقلال في إدارة شؤون كل منهم.

61. Regarding anti-discrimination policy, the State Secretary of Justice referred to the report of the Netherlands to CERD submitted in November 2007, which includes information on its antiracist policy.
61- وفيما يتعلق بسياسة مناهضة التمييز، أشارت سكرتيرة الدولة لشؤون العدل إلى تقرير هولندا الذي قدّم إلى لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007، والذي يتضمن معلومات عن سياستها المناهضة للعنصرية.
