I therefore recommend that the Security Council extend the mandate of UNMIL for one year, until 30 September 2015, while supplementing the political role played by my Special Representative with an explicit good offices mandate, which would focus on facilitating national reconciliation and political reform, and an environment conducive to peaceful and transparent elections, which includes due attention to the rule of law.
