It encouraged Cuba to inform victims of trafficking of their right to seek asylum and recommended that Cuba establish official identification and referral mechanisms for persons in need of international protection.
وشجَّعت كوبا على إعلام ضحايا الاتّجار بحقهم في التماس اللجوء وأوصت بأن تنشئ كوبا آليات رسمية تصدر وثائق تعريف وإحالة لفائدة الأشخاص الذين يحتاجون إلى حماية دولية.

وتتناول التوصيات الواردة في التقرير ضرورة تزويد العاملين كخدم في المنازل بحماية قانونية أقوى، وببديل عن نظام الكفالة، وتوفير آليات أقوى للتعاون بين الدول المُرسِلَة والدول المستقبلة، وإسناد دور أقوى إلى المجتمع المدني في مكافحة الاتجار بالأشخاص وفي تعزيز وحماية حقوق ضحايا الاتّجار.

3. The Special Rapporteur also met with senior diplomats of foreign embassies, United Nations representatives, members of the civil society and trafficked persons.

11. States have an obligation to act with due diligence to prevent, investigate and punish human trafficking, and to provide a human rights framework for trafficked persons.

However, the Committee is concerned about the low conviction rate for traffickers, whereas the number of identified trafficking victims is high, as well as the limited assistance provided to victims by the existing shelter and to those victims who are unable or unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution authorities.
