The Committee strongly recommends that the State party ensure that children who are victims of offences under the Optional Protocol are always provided with adequate treatment and compensation, and with prompt information on how to obtain them.
24- توصي اللجنة بقوة الدولة الطرف بأن تضمن على الدوام تلقي الأطفال ضحايا الجرائم المنصوص عليها في البروتوكول الاختياري معاملة وتعويضاً مناسبين، ومعلومات فورية بشأن كيفية الحصول عليهما.

There is no specific provision in national legislation on compensation for victims of offences under the Optional Protocol.

The Committee urges the State party to take all the appropriate measures for the physical and psychological recovery and social reintegration of child victims of offences under the Optional Protocol. In particular, the Committee urges the State party to:
36- وتحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة من أجل التعافي النفسي والجسدي وإعادة الإدماج الاجتماعي للأطفال ضحايا الجرائم المنصوص عليها في البروتوكول الاختياري، وتحث اللجنة، بوجه خاص، الدولة الطرف على ما يلي:

It further notes the efforts made by the Social Welfare Department's 2000 Community-based Initiative Programme to provide care, support and protection for the most vulnerable children, including victims of offences under the Optional Protocol.

25- تعرب اللجنة عن قلقها من كون الأطفال من ضحايا الجرائم المنصوص عليها في البروتوكول الاختياري قد يُنظر إليهم على أنهم مجرمون أطفال بدلاً من اعتبارهم ضحايا، وبالتالي قد لا يتلقون الحماية الكافية في نظام العدالة الجنائية.

Furthermore, the Committee is concerned that child victims of the offences under the Optional Protocol may not always be considered and treated in practice as victims as provided for in article 8 of the Optional Protocol and that insufficient measures are taken to prevent the marginalization and stigmatization of child victims.

(b) Not all provinces and territories have enacted legislation to allow child victims of the offences under the Optional Protocol to seek compensation in their respective jurisdictions; and
(ب) عدم قيام جميع المقاطعات والأقاليم بسنّ تشريعات تتيح للأطفال ضحايا الجرائم المنصوص عليها في البروتوكول الاختياري التماس تعويض في إطار الولاية القضائية لكل منها؛

(a) Provide more information in the next report on the budget allocations for the implementation of the Optional Protocol, in particular those addressed to services for child victims of the offences covered by the Protocol;

These activities should involve children who belong to marginalized and disadvantaged groups and are at greater risk of becoming victims to offences under the Optional Protocol.
