9. Efforts undertaken to raise awareness of the rights of cluster munition victims and persons with other disabilities
9- الجهود المبذولة للتوعية بحقوق ضحايا الذخائر العنقودية وحقوق ذوي الإعاقة الآخرين

1. " Cluster munition victims " means all persons who have been killed or suffered physical or psychological injury, economic loss, social marginalisation or substantial impairment of the realisation of their rights caused by the use of cluster munitions.
1 - يراد بتعبير ' ' ضحايا الذخائر العنقودية`` كل الأشخاص الذين قتلوا أو لحقتهم إصابة بدنية أو نفسانية، أو خسارة اقتصادية، أو تهميش اجتماعي، أو حرمان كبير من إعمال حقوقهم بسبب استعمال الذخائر العنقودية.

(a) Assess the needs of cluster munition victims;
(أ) تقييم احتياجات ضحايا الذخائر العنقودية؛

(f) Closely consult with and actively involve cluster munition victims and their representative organisations;
(و) التشاور الوثيق مع ضحايا الذخائر العنقودية والمنظمات التي تمثلهم وكفالة مشاركتهم وهذه المنظمات مشاركة فعلية؛

Hence, there is a good opportunity and need for the Group of Governmental Experts to continue further and intensify its discussions to identify the best manner in which such a commitment to assist cluster munitions victims will be included in the future proposal.
