The Chair of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women and the Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, addressed the Commission on the Status of Women at its fifty-fifth session in February 2011.
وقد تحدثت رئيسة اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة وأسبابه وعواقبه أمام لجنة وضع المرأة في دورتها الخامسة والخمسين في شباط/فبراير 2011.

17. Invites the Special Rapporteur on violence against Women and the Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography to make their contribution to the debate on the traffic in persons and the exploitation of the prostitution of others;
٧١- تدعو المقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسألة بيع اﻷطفال وبغاء اﻷطفال واستخدام اﻷطفال في إنتاج المواد الداعرة إلى اﻹسهام في المناقشة المتعلقة بالاتجار في اﻷشخاص واستغلال بغاء الغير؛

50. Decides to transmit the information received concerning the sexual exploitation of women and other forms of forced labour during wartime to the Special Rapporteur on violence against Women and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of systematic rape, sexual slavery and slavery—like practices during periods of armed conflict;
٠٥- تقرر إحالة المعلومات الواردة عن الاستغلال الجنسي للمرأة واﻷشكال اﻷخرى للسخرة أثناء الحروب الى المقررة الخاصة المعنية بالعنف ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بأوضاع الاغتصاب المنهجي والاستعباد الجنسي والممارسات الشبيهة بالرق خلال فترات النزاع المسلح؛

52. Invites the Special Rapporteur on violence against Women and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of systematic rape, sexual slavery and slavery—like practices during periods of armed conflict to participate in the twenty—third session of the Working Group;
٢٥- تدعو المقررة الخاصة المعنية بالعنف ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بأوضاع الاغتصاب المنهجي والاستعباد الجنسي والممارسات الشبيهة بالرق خلال فترات النزاع المسلح إلى الاشتراك في الدورة الثالثة والعشرين للفريق العامل؛

The Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, jointly with the Special Rapporteur on violence against Women and the Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, expressed concern about the abuse of children working as domestic workers.
22- وأعرب كل من المقررة الخاصة المعنية ببيع الأطفال والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بالاتجار بالأشخاص، لاسيما النساء والأطفال، عن قلقهن إزاء الاعتداء على الأطفال الذين يعملون خدَم منازل.

14. Paragraph 51 of the report on the fifth session of the Permanent Forum recommends that the Special Rapporteur on violence against Women and the Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, should participate in the sessions of the Permanent Forum.

In October 2011, the UN-Women Deputy Executive Director, Intergovernmental Support and Strategic Partnerships Bureau, the Chair of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women and the Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, addressed the Third Committee of the General Assembly during the introduction of the agenda item on advancement of women.
وفي تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2011، تحدث نائب المدير التنفيذي لمكتب الدعم الدولي الحكومي والشراكات الاستراتيجية في هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة، ورئيسة اللجنة المعنية بمكافحة التمييز ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة وأسبابه وعواقبه، أمام اللجنة الثالثة للجمعية العامة أثناء عرض بند جدول الأعمال المتعلق بالنهوض بالمرأة.

(e) The joint meeting recommended that joint letters between treaty bodies and relevant mandate holders should be sent to the Governments concerned, calling for treaty ratification or other action (as exemplified in the joint letter to Qatar from the Chair of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women and the Special Rapporteur on violence against women).
(هـ) أوصى الاجتماع المشترك بضرورة توجيه رسائل مشتركة بين هيئات المعاهدات والمكلفين بولايات ذات الصلة إلى الحكومات المعنية، داعية إياها إلى التصديق على المعاهدات أو غير ذلك من الإجراءات (كما حدث مثلا في الرسالة المشتركة الموجهة إلى دولة قطر من رئيس اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة والمقررة الخاصة المعنية بالعنف ضد المرأة).
