52. The ILO Committee of Experts noted that the Employment of Women, Young Persons and Children Act did not contain a general prohibition on the employment of children below 18 years in hazardous work and stated that the minimum age for admission to any type of employment or work which by its nature or circumstances in which it was carried out was likely to harm the health, safety or morals of young persons shall not be less than 18 years.
52- وأحاطت لجنة الخبراء التابعة لمنظمة العمل الدولية علماً بأن قانون استخدام المرأة والشباب والأطفال لا يتضمن حظراً عاماً على استخدام الأطفال دون سن 18 عاماً في الأعمال الخطرة، وذكرت أنه ينبغي ألا يقل الحد الأدنى لسن القبول عن 18 عاماً في أي نوع من أنواع الاستخدام أو العمل الذي يحتمل أن يُعرض للخطر صحة أو سلامة أو أخلاق الأحداث بسبب طبيعته أو الظروف التي يُؤدَّى فيها(67).
