At the 27th meeting, on 11 December 2007, Ms. Sima Samar, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Sudan, introduced the final report on the situation of human rights in Darfur prepared by the group of experts on Darfur (A/HRC/6/19) as requested by the Council in its resolution OM/1/3 of 20 June 2007.

In its resolution 73 (1949), the Council requested the Secretary-General to arrange for the continued service of such of the personnel of UNTSO as might be required in observing and maintaining the ceasefire, as requested by the Council in its resolution 54 (1948), and as might be necessary in assisting the parties to the 1949 Armistice Agreements in the supervision of the application and observance of the terms of those agreements.

2. Strongly urges the Government of Myanmar to receive, as soon as possible, at his convenience, a follow-up mission by the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar, as requested by the Council in its resolution 6/33, to cooperate fully with him and to follow up and implement the recommendations contained in the report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar (A/HRC/6/14);

23. The additional professional post allocated to the Transport Division of ECE for the service of the Committee and the ECE Working Party on the Transport of Dangerous Goods in response to Economic and Social Council resolutions 1981/3, 1983/7, 1985/9, 1986/66, 1987/54, 1989/104 and 1991/57 has been filled, as requested in Council resolution 1993/50.
٣٢ - جرى شغل الوظيفة اﻹضافية من الفئة الفنية المخصصة لشعبة النقل في اللجنة الاقتصادية ﻷوروبا مـن أجـل خدمـة اللجنة والفريق العامل التابع للجنـة الاقتصاديـة ﻷوروبـا والمعنـي بنقـل البضائـع الخطيـرة استجابـة لقرارات المجلــس الاقتصادي والاجتماعـي ١٩٨١/٣ و ١٩٨٣/٧ و ١٩٨٥/٩ و ١٩٨٦/٦٦ و ١٩٨٧/٥٤ و ١٩٨٩/١٠٤ و ١٩٩١/٥٧، وذلك حسبما طلب المجلس في قراره ١٩٩٣/٥٠.

In this respect, I am concerned that the payments have not been made and I urge the Government of Iraq to provide the payments without any delay to the beneficiaries as called for by the Council in resolution 1958 (2010).
