I should like to inform representatives that the President of the General Assembly has received two letters dated today, Monday, 7 November 2005, informing him that the national group of Sweden and Tunisia wishes to withdraw the candidature of Mr. Abdelfattah Amor.
أود أن أبلغ الممثلين بأن رئيس الجمعية العامة قد تلقى رسالتين بتاريخ اليوم، الاثنين 7 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005، تبلغانه بأن المجموعة الوطنية للسويد وتونس ترغب في سحب ترشيح السيد عبد الفتاح عمرو.

4. Mr. Abdelfattah Amor, who succeeded Mr. Angelo d'Almeida Ribeiro in 1993, submitted successive reports (E/CN.4/1994/79; E/CN.4/1995/91 and Add.1; E/CN.4/1996/95 and Add.1—2) to the Commission on Human Rights at its fiftieth, fifty—first and fifty—second sessions, as well as to the General Assembly at its fiftieth and fifty—first sessions.
