The opening of these two centres was followed by that of new centres in each of the following places: Ras al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al-`Ayn and Dibba, and recently a centre was opened in Ajman, with a view to extending the umbrella of care for this group all over the Emirates.

393. The Working Group transmitted to the Government of the United Arab Emirates the case of Abdullah Sultan al-Subaihat, who was reportedly arrested at the Agricultural Administration Department in the Emirate of Ajman.

In 2007, the comparable figure was 10, indicating that the process of suppressing that crime is steadily developing.
