وبناء عليه، يطلب المجلس، عند الموافقة على خطة عمل، إلى الأمين العام أن يتخذ الخطوات اللازمة لإصدار خطة العمل المتعلقة باستكشاف العقيدات المتعددة الفلزات في شكل عقد بين السلطة ومقدم الطلب، على النحو المنصوص عليه في المرفق 3 للنظام.
