١ - اعتمدت الجمعيـة العامـة فـي دورتهـا السابعة واﻷربعين، القـرار ٤٧/٢٨ المـؤرخ ٢٥ تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر ١٩٩٢ الذي أحاطت فيه علما مع بالغ القلق بالتقرير المقدم من اﻷمين العام باسم أعضاء لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية بشأن الموضوع الوارد أعلاه (A/C.5/47/14).

2. Takes note with extreme concern of the Commission's conclusion that, there is converging evidence pointing at the involvement of both Lebanese and Syrian officials in this terrorist act, and that it is difficult to envisage a scenario whereby such complex assassination could have been carried out without their knowledge;

We condemn recent terrorist acts in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which are designed to undermine the democratic process and the evolution of civil society as well as other terrorist acts, including those in Omagh, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, and note with deep concern the increasing resort by terrorists to actions aimed at achieving the maximum number of casualties.
ونشجب اﻷعمال اﻹرهابية التي وقعت مؤخرا في جمهورية إيران اﻹسلامية، والتي صممت لتقويض العملية الديمقراطية وتقويض تطور المجتمع المدني فضلا عن اﻷعمال اﻹرهابية اﻷخرى بما في ذلك اﻷعمال اﻹرهابية التي وقعت في أوماغ، ونيروبي، ودار السلام، ونحيط علما مع بالغ القلق بزيادة لجوء اﻹرهابيين إلى ارتكاب أعمال ترمي إلى قتل وإصابة أكبر عدد ممكن من اﻷشخاص.

2. Takes note with deep concern that the presidential election scheduled for the 30 November 2008 has been postponed, pursuant to the communiqué of the 10 November 2008 of the permanent consultative framework established by the Ouagadougou political Agreement (S/2008/694);
