In this connection, the Advisory Committee recalls rule 156 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, which states that members of the Advisory Committee shall be selected on the basis of broad geographical representation, personal qualifications and experience.
وتشير اللجنة الاستشارية بهذا الخصوص إلى المادة 156 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة، التي تنص على أن يُختار أعضاء اللجنة الاستشارية على أساس التمثيل الجغرافي الواسع والمؤهلات الشخصية والخبرة.

2 - وتقضي المادة 156 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة باختيار أعضاء اللجنة الاستشارية على أساس التمثيل الجغرافي الواسع والمؤهلات الشخصية والخبرة وألا يكون اثنان من أعضائها من مواطني دولة واحدة.
