One representative said that the criteria for the review process should be specifically aligned with the needs of the Convention and should not be drafted in such a way that they discouraged Parties from ratifying amendments to Annexes A, B and C.

At its fourth meeting, held from 4 to 8 May 2009, the Conference of the Parties adopted amendments to Annexes A, B and C to the Stockholm Convention to list nine new persistent organic pollutants.

The amendment adopted in May 2011 did not enter into force for those 20 parties that had made a declaration with respect to amendments to Annexes A, B and C in accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 25 of the Convention.
13 - ولم يبدأ نفاذ التعديل المعتمد في أيار/مايو 2011 بالنسبة لأولئك الأطراف العشرين التي أصدرت إعلاناً فيما يتعلق بالتعديلات على المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 25 في الاتفاقية.

10 - ولم تدخل التعديلات التي اعتمدت في أيار/مايو 2009 حيّز النفاذ بالنسبة لأولئك الأطراف العشرين التي أصدرت إعلاناً يتعلق بإدخال تعديلات على المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 25 في الاتفاقية.

At its fourth meeting, held from 4 to 8 May 2009, the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants adopted amendments to Annexes A, B and C to the Stockholm Convention to list nine new persistent organic pollutants.
1 - اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية استكهولم بشأن الملوثات العضوية الثابتة، في اجتماعه الرابع الذي عقد خلال الفترة من 4 إلى 8 أيار/مايو 2009، تعديلات على المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم لاتفاقية استكهولم تقضي بإدراج تسعة ملوثات عضوية ثابتة جديدة().

Furthermore, in paragraph 7 (c) of the same decision, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat to prepare a revised version of the additional guidance on the calculation of action plan costs taking into account the comments provided by parties, in addition to the amendments to Annexes A, B and C to the Convention, subject to the availability of resources.

7. Amendments to Annexes A , B [or ...] to this Protocol shall enter into force for all Parties to this Protocol six months after the date of the communication by the Depositary to such Parties of the adoption of the annex or adoption of the amendment to the annex.
7- يبدأ نفاذ التعديلات على المرفقات ألف أو باء [أو ...] لهذا البروتوكول بالنسبة إلى جميع الأطراف في هذا البروتوكول بعد انقضاء ستة أشهر على تاريخ إبلاغ الوديع هذه الأطراف باعتماد المرفق أو باعتماد التعديل على المرفق.

7- يبدأ نفاذ التعديلات على المرفقات ألف [، باء [أو ...]] لهذا البروتوكول بالنسبة إلى جميع الأطراف في هذا البروتوكول [وفقاً للإجراء المنصوص عليه في المادة 20 بعد انقضاء ستة أشهر على تاريخ إبلاغ الوديع هذه الأطراف باعتماد المرفق أو باعتماد التعديل على المرفق].

A Party may declare when ratifying the Convention that amendments to Annexes A, B, or C will apply to it only if it " opts in " by affirmatively accepting the amendment. Except for those Parties that had made such a declaration, a methylmercury listing would apply automatically to all Parties that did not " opt-out " within one year of its adoption.
169 - ويمكن لأي طرف أن يعلن لدى التصديق على الاتفاقية أن التعديلات المدخلة على المرفقات ألف أو باء أو جيم سوف تنطبق عليه لو أن هذا الطرف " اختار الانضمام " بموجب قبوله للتعديل.() وفيما عدا تلك الأطراف التي تعلن قبولها للتعديل، ينطبق إدراج ميثيل الزئبق في القائمة تلقائياً على جميع الأطراف التي لا تعلن " عدم انضمامها " للتعديل في غضون سنة من اعتماده.

Amendments to Annex A, B [and...] shall be adopted by consensus and in relation to Annex B [and ...] only with the written consent of the Party concerned.
