2. To note that ratification of the London Amendment is required to qualify for financial assistance from international funding agencies;

A total of 17 Parties to the Montreal Protocol had not yet ratified the London Amendment, while the Copenhagen Amendment had yet to be ratified by 30 Parties to the Protocol.

To note that, as of 15 December 2005, 179 Parties had ratified the London Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, 169 Parties had ratified the Copenhagen Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, and 137 Parties had ratified the Montreal Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, while only 102 Parties had ratified the Beijing Amendment to the Montreal Protocol;

As the United Arab Emirates did not ratify the London Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, which added carbon tetrachloride to the Protocol's schedule of controlled substance, until 16 February 2005, it was not obliged to submit Article 7 data reports on that substance.
وحيث أن الإمارات العربية المتحدة لم تصدق على تعديل لندن على بروتوكول مونتريال، الذي يضيف رابع كلوريد الكربون إلى جدول البروتوكول بشأن المواد الخاضعة للرقابة، حتى 16 شباط/فبراير 2005، فلم تكن ملزمة بتقديم تقارير بيانات المادة 7 عن تلك المادة.

As to the amendments to the Protocol, four Parties had ratified the London Amendment, for a total of 193; six had ratified the Copenhagen Amendment, for a total of 190; 11 had ratified the Montreal Amendment, for a total of 178; and 16 had ratified the Beijing Amendment, for a total of 160.

وقالت إن ثلاثة أطراف صدقت على تعديل لندن وبذلك ارتفع المجموع إلى 189؛ وستة أطراف صدقت على تعديل كوبنهاجن فأصبح المجموع 184؛ وأن 10 أطراف صدقت على تعديل مونتريال ليرتفع العدد الإجمالي إلى 167؛ كما أن 12 طرفاً صدقت على تعديل بيجين وأصبح المجموع 144 طرفاً.

The representative of Armenia provided the information that her country had now ratified the London Amendment, and the Copenhagen Amendment, and had deposited the instruments of ratification with the United Nations.
