5.3 The appropriations provided for in regulation 4.2 shall be financed from the assessed contributions from States Parties in accordance with regulation 5.2 up to a limit to be decided upon by the Assembly of States Parties in each budget resolution.

٢ - تظل سارية لفترة إضافية مدتها أربع سنوات تبدأ بعد انتهاء فترة اﻹثنى عشر شهرا المنصوص عليها في البند ٤ - ٣ أي التزامات أخرى غير مصفاة متعلقة بالفترة المالية المعنية تكون مستحقة للحكومات عن سلع موردة وخدمات مقدمة، وأي التزامات أخرى يتعين الوفاء بها للحكومات، لم ترد بشأنها المطالبات اللازمة بعد.

1. The Secretary-General shall establish the salary of the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme and the salaries of United Nations officials in the Director category and above, in accordance with amounts determined by the General Assembly, subject to the staff assessment plan provided in staff regulation 3.3 and to post adjustments wherever applied.
١ - يحدد اﻷمين العام مرتب مدير برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي ومرتبات موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة في فئة المدير وما فوقها بحسب المبالغ التي تقررها الجمعية العامة، وتخضع هذه المرتبات لخطة الاقتطاع اﻹلزامي من مرتبات الموظفين المنصوص عليها في البند ٣/٣ من النظام اﻷساسي للموظفين وتسويات مقر العمل حسب الاقتضاء.
