Following an interim audit, which confirmed the final cash surplus in February 2010, a further amount of Euro1,913,700 was surrendered in accordance with the decision of the Meeting of States Parties adopted in June 2010.

7. In accordance with the decision of the Meeting of States Parties (SPLOS/146), an amount of Euro312,684 from the 2002 savings corresponding to the additional appropriations for 2005 will be surrendered and deducted from the assessed contributions of the States Parties for 2007 in accordance with regulation 4.5 of the Financial Regulations of the Tribunal.

From that balance, an amount of Euro351,899 was surrendered and deducted from the assessed contributions of the States Parties for 2008 in accordance with the decision of the Meeting of States Parties in June 2007 (SPLOS 161).

11. In accordance with the decision of the Meeting of States Parties adopted in June 2012 (SPLOS/250), an amount of Euro1,873,979, corresponding to the surplus from the financial period 2009-2010, will be surrendered and deducted from the 2013 contributions of States parties, in accordance with financial regulation 4.
11 - وبمقتضى المقرر الصادر عن اجتماع الدول الأطراف المتخذ في حزيران/يونيه 2012 (SPLOS/250), سيُعاد مبلغ 979 873 1 يورو، الذي يطابق الفائض النقدي من الفترة المالية 2009-2010، إلى الدول الأطراف ويُخصم من اشتراكاتها المقررة في ميزانية المحكمة عن عام 2013، وفقاً للمادة 4 من النظام المالي للمحكمة.

It should also be noted that the special allowance of the President was revised from $15,000 per annum to $25,000 per annum for the period from July to December 2012 in accordance with the decision of the Meeting of States Parties (see SPLOS/251, para. 35).

The Group of Governmental Experts recommended that follow up work arising from the Meeting of States Parties (12-13 December 2002) shall be held under the oversight of the Chairman-designate of the Meeting of States Parties proposed to be held in Geneva in 2003 in conjunction with the Fifth Annual Conference of States Parties to Amended Protocol II.
22- وأوصى فريق الخبراء الحكوميين بأن تجري أعمال المتابعة الناشئة عن اجتماع الدول الأطراف (12-13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002) بإشراف الرئيس المختار لاجتماع الدول الأطراف المقترح عقده في جنيف في عام 2003 بالتزامن مع المؤتمر السنوي الخامس للدول الأطراف في البروتوكول الثاني المعدل.

17. Consequently, on the basis of the decision of the Meeting of States Parties (SPLOS/200, para. 2), the annual base salary of the judges of the Tribunal needs to be adjusted to $166,596, effective 1 January 2010, in line with the adjustment made to that of the judges of the International Court of Justice.
