1. This document is a synthesis and preliminary analysis of information submitted by Parties and other relevant reporting entities on strategic objective 4 (SO 4) of The Strategy: To mobilize resources to support implementation of the Convention through building effective partnerships between national and international actors.
أولاً- مقدِّمة 1- هذه الوثيقة تجميعٌ وتحليلٌ أوليٌ للمعلومات المقدَّمة من الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلِّغة المعنية عن الهدف الاستراتيجي 4 من الاستراتيجية: تعبئة الموارد لدعم تنفيذ الاتفاقية عن طريق بناء شراكات فعّالة بين الجهات الفاعلة الوطنية والدولية.

(a) Preliminary analysis of information contained in reports from affected country Parties on strategic objective 1 of The Strategy;
(أ) تحليل أولي للمعلومات الواردة في التقارير المقدمة من البلدان الأطراف المتأثرة عن الهدف الاستراتيجي 1 من الاستراتيجية؛

23. As for the other strategic objectives of The Strategy, for the first time Parties submitted baseline information on strategic objective 4 which is analysed in document ICCD/CRIC(11)/10.
23- وفيما يتعلق بالأهداف الاستراتيجية الأخرى، قدمت الأطراف للمرة الأولى معلومات أساسية عن الهدف الاستراتيجي 4 يرد تحليلها في الوثيقة ICCD/CRIC(11)/10.

6. Requests the secretariat and the Global Mechanism, in consultation with reporting entities, to develop, in line with the recommendations and indicative aspects described in this document, detailed reporting guidelines on strategic objective 4, including formats and templates to be incorporated in the performance review and assessment of implementation system;
6- يطلب إلى الأمانة والآلية العالمية أن تضعا، بالتشاور مع الكيانات المبلغة وعملاً بالتوصيات والجوانب الاستدلالية المعروضة في هذه الوثيقة، مبادئ توجيهية مفصلة للإبلاغ عن الهدف الاستراتيجي 4، بما يشمل الصيغ والنماذج الواجب إدراجها في نظام استعراض الأداء وتقييم التنفيذ؛

8. Invites the Global Environment Facility and other donors to make adequate financial resources available to the eligible country Parties for training and capacity-building on strategic objective 4 reporting, as appropriate and as part of a global programme in support of the 2012 - 2013 reporting and review exercise;
8- يطلب إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية والجهات المانحة الأخرى إتاحة الموارد المالية الكافية للدول الأطراف المؤهلة لأغراض التدريب وبناء القدرات فيما يتصل بالإبلاغ عن الهدف الاستراتيجي 4، حسب ما هو مناسب وكجزء من برنامج عالمي لدعم عملية الإبلاغ والاستعراض للفترة 2012-2013؛

Building on document ICCD/CRIC(8)/5/Add.7 and following the recommendations of CRIC 9 on the iterative process, document ICCD/CRIC(10)/12 provides methodological considerations, including a draft format and methodological advice for reporting on strategic objective 4, for consideration at CRIC 10.
37- واستكمالاً للوثيقة ICCD/CRIC(8)/5/Add.7، وعملاً بتوصيات الدورة التاسعة للجنة بخصوص الإجراء المتكرر، تتناول الوثيقة ICCD/CRIC(10)/12 الاعتبارات المنهجية، بما في ذلك وضع مشروع لشكل التقرير وتقديم مشورة منهجية للإبلاغ عن الهدف الاستراتيجي 4، كي تنظر فيها اللجنة في دورتها العاشرة.
