(a) Take steps to ensure that the legislation of all states is fully harmonized with the General Law on Access by Women to a Life without Violence, in particular the provisions concerning the establishment of a database with information on cases of violence against women, the creation of a gender violence alert mechanism, and the prohibition of sexual harassment;
(أ) تتخذ تدابير لضمان تماشي القوانين في كل الولايات تماشياً تاماً مع القانون العام المتعلق بتمتّع المرأة بحياة خالية من العنف، وبخاصة الأحكام المتعلقة بإنشاء قاعدة بيانات تتضمن معلومات عن حالات العنف ضد المرأة، وإنشاء آلية للإنـذار المبكـر من العنف القائم على نوع الجنس وحظر التحرش الجنسي؛

(a) Take steps to ensure that the legislation of all states is fully harmonized with the General Law on Access by Women to a Life without Violence, in particular the provisions concerning the establishment of a database with information on cases of violence against women, the creation of a gender violence alert mechanism, and the prohibition of sexual harassment;

(a) To prioritize the full implementation of the General Act on Women's Access to a Life Free of Violence, including by executing entirely the National Programme to Prevent, Treat, Punish and Eradicate Violence against Women and by activating the National Data and Information Bank on cases of violence against Women, with the participation of all the 32 federal states;

(b) To monitor and publish annual reports on cases of violence against children reported to the police and other criminal justice agencies, including the number of cases, apprehension or arrest and clearance rates, prosecution and case disposition of the alleged offenders and the prevalence of violence against children; in so doing, use should be made of data derived from population-based surveys.
(ب) رصد ونشر تقارير سنوية عن حالات العنف ضد الأطفال التي تُبلَّغ بها الشرطة وغيرها من هيئات العدالة الجنائية، بما في ذلك عدد تلك الحالات، ومعدلات إلقاء القبض على مرتكبي هذا العنف أو اعتقالهم وإطلاق سراحهم، ومقاضاة المجرمين المزعومين والفصل في قضاياهم، ومعدلات حالات العنف المرتكبة ضد الأطفال؛ وينبغي الاستعانة عند القيام بذلك بالبيانات المستمدة من الاستقصاءات السكانية.

(b) To monitor and publish periodic reports on cases of violence against children reported to the police and other criminal justice agencies, including the number of cases, apprehension or arrest and clearance rates, prosecution and case disposition with regard to the alleged offenders and the prevalence of violence against children and, in so doing, to make use of data derived from population-based surveys.

22. While welcoming measures taken by the State party to combat violence against women and children, the Committee is concerned about the persistence of such violence and the lack of information about (a) prosecutions of persons in connection with cases of violence against women and children, including domestic violence and (b) practical assistance and reparations provided to victims of such violence.
