The Committee was further informed that assessment is currently under way in order to determine the most effective means of addressing the outcome of the Conference; when the assessment is complete, the Secretary-General will submit a report on the outcome of the Conference and the related programme budget implication, if any, for consideration by the General Assembly.

At its sixty-sixth session, the General Assembly decided on the modalities for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, to be held from 20 to 22 June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the outcome of the Conference to the Assembly at its sixty-seventh session (resolution 66/197).

In welcoming the work of the International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS), the Commission suggested it might wish to review ICLS methods of operation, in particular the frequency and duration of its sessions. The Commission requested that ILO report to it at its fortieth session on the outcomes of the Conference and other actions taken in the implementation of the recommendations of the review report, including the road map.
