وإذ تؤكد من جديد أيضا أنه رغم وجود سمات مشتركة بين النظم الديمقراطية، فليس ثمة نموذج وحيد للديمقراطية وأن الديمقراطية لا تخص بلدا بعينه أو منطقة بعينها، وإذ تؤكد من جديد كذلك ضرورة إيلاء الاحترام الواجب للسيادة والحق في تقرير المصير والسلامة الإقليمية،

وإذ تعيد أيضا تأكيد أنه رغم وجود سمات مشتركة بين النظم الديمقراطية، فليس ثمة نموذج وحيد للديمقراطية وأن الديمقراطية لا تخص بلدا بعينه أو منطقة بعينها، وإذ تعيد كذلك تأكيد ضرورة إيلاء الاحترام الواجب للسيادة والحق في تقرير المصير والسلامة الإقليمية،

Similarly, the Human Rights Council, in its resolution 19/36 on human rights, democracy and the rule of law, reaffirmed in a preambular paragraph that " while democracies share common features, there is no single model of democracy and that democracy does not belong to any country or region " , and stressed " the necessity of due respect for sovereignty and the right to self-determination " .
كذلك أكد مجلس حقوق الإنسان من جديد، في إحدى فقرات ديباجة قراره 19/36 بشأن حقوق الإنسان والديمقراطية وسيادة القانون، أنه " رغم وجود سمات مشتركة بين النظم الديمقراطية، فليس ثمة نموذج وحيد للديمقراطية وأن الديمقراطية لا تخص بلدا بعينه أو منطقة بعينها " ، وشدد على " ضرورة إيلاء الاحترام الواجب للسيادة والحق في تقرير المصير " .
