(b) Inter-agency loans, secondments and transfers are defined in and shall be governed by the Inter-organization Agreement concerning transfer, secondment or loan of staff among the organizations applying the United Nations common system of salaries and allowances.*

Arrangements will be made so that staff currently on secondment to UNDP/OPS from other organizational entities will have their secondments transferred to the United Nations by the releasing organization, in accordance with the Inter-organization Agreement concerning Transfer, Secondment or Loan of Staff among the organizations applying the United Nations Common System of Salaries and Allowances.

8. Arrangements shall be made so that staff currently on secondment to UNDP/OPS from other organizational entities shall have their secondment transferred to the United Nations by the releasing organization, in accordance with the Inter-organization Agreement concerning Transfer, Secondment or Loan of Staff among the organizations applying the United Nations Common System of Salaries and Allowances.
٨ - ستتخذ ترتيبات تقوم بموجبها المنظمة المنتدبة بتحويل انتدابات الموظفين المنتدبين حاليا الى مكتب خدمات المشاريع التابع لبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي من الكيانات اﻷخرى الى اﻷمم المتحدة، وذلك وفقا للاتفاق المشترك بين المنظمات المتعلق بنقل الموظفين أو انتدابهم أو اعارتهم فيما بين المنظمات التي تطبق نظام اﻷمم المتحدة الموحد للمرتبات والبدلات.

18. Although the Inter-Agency Mobility Accord, which had been intended to replace the former Interorganization Agreement concerning transfer, secondment or loan of staff among the organizations applying the United Nations common system of salaries and allowances, had been issued by CEB in 2005, some organizations had not yet accepted it and continued to use the former Agreement.

In 2005, the CEB issued the Inter-Agency Mobility Accord (the Accord). The Accord was intended to replace the former Inter-organization Agreement (the Agreement) that was last updated in 2003, concerning transfer, secondment or loan of staff among the organizations applying the United Nations common system of salaries and allowances.

29. The modalities for the exchange of staff among international organizations within the common system are set out in the Inter-organization Agreement Concerning Transfer, Secondment or Loan of Staff among the organizations applying the United Nations Common System of Salaries and Allowances, last revised in 1992 (ACC/1992/PER/CM/9).
