The present note provides, in chapter I, a summary for delegates of issues for discussion by the Open-ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol at its twenty-fifth meeting relating to items 3 - 13 of the provisional agenda.

Regarding the Task Force report, Ms. Shiqiu Zhang, Co-Chair of the Replenishment Task Force, presented an addendum to the October 2005 supplement to the May 2005 Technology and Economic Assessment Panel Replenishment Report, which had been published by the Replenishment Task Force in accordance with the request of the Open-ended Working Group at its twenty-fifth meeting.

To facilitate the work of the Parties to the Vienna Convention and its Montreal Protocol at their joint meeting, the Secretariat has prepared the present document, which contains three chapters. Chapter I sets forth the draft decisions which the Open-ended Working Group at its twenty-fifth meeting decided to forward for consideration by the seventeenth Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol.

She noted that the Open-ended Working Group at its twenty-fifth meeting had considered a report by the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel which had determined that bromochloromethane used in the production of Sultamicillin was not a process-agent application, but rather a feedstock use, and that Turkey had not yet informed the Secretariat as to whether it should revise the Party's data report with regard to that substance.
وقد أشارت إلى أن الفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية قام في اجتماعه الخامس والعشرين ببحث تقرير فريق التكنولوجيا والتقييم الاقتصادي والذي بين أن مادة البروموكلوروميثان المستخدمة في إنتاج السالتاميسيللين ليست من استخدامات عوامل التصنيع، ولكنها تعد استخداماً كمادة وسيطة، وأن تركيا لم تبلغ الأمانة بعد ما إذا كان يتعين عليها مراجعة تقرير بيانات الطرف فيما يتعلق بتلك المادة.

As requested by decision 45/10 (d) of the Executive Committee, the Secretariat submits the revised report and the covering note, after approval by the Chair of the Executive Committee, to the Open-ended Working Group at its twenty-fifth meeting.
7 - وتلبية للطلب الوارد في مقرر اللجنة التنفيذية 45/10 (د)، تقدم الأمانة هذا التقرير المنقح ومذكرة إحالته، بعد موافقة رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية عليهما، إلى الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية في اجتماعه الخامس والعشرين.

The Board further agreed at its twenty-fifth meeting that in cases where requests for registration of project activities claiming retroactive credits are being submitted, the DOE requesting registration shall submit the evidence that the project participant(s) requested validation of the project activity prior to 31 December 2005, in accordance with the clarification provided by the Board at its twenty-third meeting;

Looks forward to the consideration by the Programme Coordinating Board of the Joint Programme at its twenty-fifth meeting, to be held in Geneva from 8 to 10 December 2009, of a report on the anticipated impact that the global financial and economic crisis will have on the ability of countries to meet their universal access targets, to include recommendations and mitigation strategies;
22 - يتطلع إلى قيام مجلس تنسيق البرنامج التابع للبرنامج المشترك بالنظر، في اجتماعه الخامس والعشرين المقرر عقده في جنيف في الفترة من 8 إلى 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2009، في تقرير عن التأثير المتوقع أن تخلفه الأزمة المالية والاقتصادية العالمية على قدرة البلدان على تحقيق أهدافها المتمثلة في توفير الخدمات للجميع، من المقرر أن يتضمن توصيات واستراتيجيات للتخفيف من حدة هذه الأزمة؛

To note that, in preparing its response to paragraph 98 (a) above, Turkey may wish to refer to the review of its use of bromochloromethane in the production of sultamillicine conducted by the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel and its Chemical Technical Options Committee, as well as the discussion of the twenty-fifth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group at its twenty-fifth meeting on the matter;
