The Commission urges Governments and intergovernmental organizations to give strong political support to the first session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention, to be held once the Convention has been ratified by at least 50 countries, and to support fully the work of the interim secretariat in preparing for the first meeting of the Conference of Parties.

24. The Conference addressed the issue of holding the Sixth Annual Conference in 2004 and decided that the issues of the dates and duration would be addressed at the Meeting of the States Parties to the Convention to be held from 27 to 28 November 2003.

We propose that this amendment be adopted at the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention to be held in Durban, South Africa, from 28 November to 9 December 2011.
ونقترح اعتماد هذا التعديل في الدورة السابعة عشرة لمؤتمر الأطراف في الاتفاقية الذي سيعقد في ديربان بجنوب أفريقيا في الفترة من 28 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر إلى 9 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2011.

The Conference addressed the issue of convening the two/three-day Second Conference of the High Contracting Parties to Protocol V in 2008 and decided that the issue of the date and duration of the Conference would be addressed at the Meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention to be held from 7 to 13 November 2007.
43- وتناول المؤتمر مسألة عقد المؤتمر الثاني للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية الذي سيعقد لفترة يومين/ثلاثة أيام في 2008 وقرر تناول مسألتي موعد ومدة انعقاد المؤتمر في اجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في الاتفاقية الذي سيعقد من 7 إلى 13 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007.

The European Union attached great importance to the third session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Convention, to be held in Doha in November 2009, and called on all States Parties to adopt an effective, transparent and inclusive review mechanism.

45- وقرر المؤتمر أن المؤتمر السادس للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في البروتوكول الخامس الذي سيعقد لفترة يومين في عام 2012 سيتقرر موعده في المؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في الاتفاقية الذي سيعقد من 14 إلى 25 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2011.

The Third Conference addressed, as stipulated in paragraph 56 of its Final Document, the issue of convening a two-day Fourth Conference of the High Contracting Parties to Protocol V in 2010 and decided that the issue of the date and duration of the Conference would be addressed at the Meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention to be held on 12 and 13 November 2009.

46. The Conference decided that the two-day Fifth Conference of the High Contracting Parties to Protocol V will be convened in 2011 on dates to be decided at the Meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention to be held on 25 and 26 November 2010.
46- وقرر المؤتمر أن المؤتمر الخامس للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في البروتوكول الخامس الذي سيعقد لفترة يومين في عام 2011 سيتقرر موعده في اجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في الاتفاقية الذي سيعقد يومي 25 و26 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2010.

Recognizes the importance of the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, to be held in Bonn, Germany, from 12 to 16 May 2008, and the ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention, to be held in Bonn from 19 to 30 May 2008;
6 - تقر بأهمية الاجتماع الرابع لمؤتمر الأطراف في الاتفاقية العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كارتاخينا للسلامة البيولوجية(2)، الذي سيعقد في بون، ألمانيا، في الفترة من 12 إلى 16 أيار/مايو 2008، والاجتماع التاسع لمؤتمر الأطراف في الاتفاقية الذي سيعقد في بون، في الفترة من 19 إلى 30 أيار/مايو 2008؛

The Meeting of the High Contracting Parties decided, as contained in paragraph 39 of its Final Report (CCW/MSP/2010/5), to designate Ambassador Gancho Ganev of Bulgaria as President of the Fourth Review Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention to be held in 2011, and appointed Minister Jesus S. Domingo of the Philippines as Chairperson of the Group of Governmental Experts.
3- وقرر اجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية، وفقاً لما تتضمنه الفقرة 39 من تقريره الختامي (CCW/MSP/2010/5)، أن يعين سفير بلغاريا غانتشو غانيف رئيساً للمؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في الاتفاقية الذي سيعقد في عام 2011، وعيّن ممثل الفلبين الوزير جيسوس س. دومينغو رئيساً لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين.
