وإذ تضع في اعتبارها أن العراق طرف في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان وغير ذلك من الصكوك الدولية المتعلقة بحقوق اﻹنسان،

Noting that the States parties to the International Covenants on Human Rights have the obligation to ensure the equal right of men and women to enjoy all economic, social, cultural, civil and political rights,
وإذ تلحظ أن على الدول اﻷطراف في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان واجب ضمان مساواة الرجل والمرأة في حق التمتع بجميع الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية والمدنية والسياسية،

The inclusion of the right to self-determination in the international human rights covenants emphasized that the right to self-determination was an integral part of human rights law which had a universal application.
كما أن إدراج الحق في تقرير المصير في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان يؤكد على أن الحق في تقرير المصير جزء لا يتجزأ من قانون حقوق الإنسان وعالمي التطبيق.

Most of these rights have been elaborated in the International Covenants on Human Rights.
وقد جرى تناول معظم هذه الحقوق بالتفصيل في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان.

3. Invites the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to intensify systematic efforts to encourage States to become parties to the International Covenants on Human Rights and, through the programme of advisory services in the field of human rights, to assist such States, at their request, in ratifying or acceding to the Covenants and to the Optional Protocols to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights;
٣ - تدعـو مفوضة اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق اﻹنسان إلى تكثيف الجهود المنتظمة الرامية إلى تشجيع الدول على أن تصبح أطرافا في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان والقيام، عن طريق برنامج الخدمات الاستشارية في ميدان حقوق اﻹنسان، بمساعدة هذه الدول، بناء على طلبها، على التصديق على العهدين أو الانضمام إليهما وإلى البروتوكولين الاختياريين المتعلقين بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية؛

Recognizing the important role of the Human Rights Committee and the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in examining the progress made by States parties in implementing the obligations undertaken in the International Covenants on Human Rights and the Optional Protocols to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and in providing recommendations to States parties on their implementation,
وإذ تسلم بالدور المهم الذي تضطلع به لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة المعنية بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية في دراسة ما تحرزه الدول اﻷطراف من تقدم في تنفيذ الالتزامات المتعهد بها في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان والبروتوكولين الاختياريين المتعلقين بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية، وفي تقديم توصيات الى الدول اﻷطراف بشأن تنفيذ تلك الصكوك،

As examined in the general comment, the right to adequate housing could be viewed in isolation from other human rights contained in the two International Covenants on Human Rights and other applicable international instruments.
وكما ورد في التعليق العام، يمكن النظر إلى الحق في السكن اللائق بمعزل عن حقوق الإنسان الأخرى الواردة في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان وغيرهما من الصكوك الدولية المنطبقة.
