(27) The Court found such acquiescence in the Case concerning the Temple of Preah Vihear, where it placed decisive emphasis on the fact that there had been clear assertions of sovereignty by one side (France) which, according to the Court, required a reaction on the part of the other side (Thailand).

130. On 28 April 2011, Cambodia filed an application instituting proceedings in which, referring to Article 60 of the Statute and article 98 of the Rules of Court, it requested an interpretation of the judgment rendered by the Court on 15 June 1962 in the Case concerning the Temple of Preah Vihear (Cambodia v. Thailand).

Let me turn now to the sixth case -- an order on provisional measures handed down by the Court on 18 July 2011 in the case concerning the Request for Interpretation of the Judgment of 15 June 1962 in the Case concerning the Temple of Preah Vihear (Cambodia v. Thailand) (Cambodia v. Thailand).

The form of the act, it should be remembered, does not affect its validity, as Judge Anzilotti pointed out in 1933, in his separate opinion in the case concerning Eastern Greenland, which view was reaffirmed by the International Court of Justice in the Case concerning the Temple of Preah Vihear and in the Nuclear Tests case.
